The Snowshoe Events
The Snowshoe events are designed for everyone. If you can walk 5-miles you will finish. There will be great competition for the endorphin junkies and great scenery and camaraderie for those looking for a little outdoor adventure. The two events make up the largest snowshoe race in the Northwest. In 2008 more than 100 are expected to participate.
White River 8K
The White River 8K will begin at the White River West Sno Park. The course is an adventure through the White River Canyon. This is the oldest snowshoe event in the northwest. The route will leave the snow park and travel to the end of the canyon and return. The course is a narrow loop.

In 2008 Richard Bolt looks to return to repeat as champion. Competition should prove a little tougher, as veteran snowshoe racers Dan Walters, and Dan Lautenbach plan to toe the line.
On the women's side, watch for Pamm Chambers to push perennial favorite Myra Kletke.
